Kopos is produced from carefully selected olives which are 80% of the Kolovi variety and 20% Adramitiani variety; a product that is produced exclusively through mechanical means, giving out an extra virgin olive oil of low acidity, quite fruity, balanced in bitterness and wonderfully spicy. The Andriotis brothers, wanting to present a complete concept, assigned the design of the bottle to Chris Trivizas’ awarded creative agency. The innovative design that was produced brings for the first time to the consumer’s table not only the natural juice of the olive, but also the olive itself, by means of the cap of the bottle. The bottle’s caps are handmade, using the wood of the olive tree that is leftover after the pruning. In this way, nothing goes to waste, instead, with extreme effort, each piece of wood -despite being hard and full of knots- is carefully smoothed down into the right shape.
