Thymus vulgaris or common thyme, is the best-known species of thyme. A low growing, wiry-stemmed perennial shrub, thyme is one of the top favourite herbs for the Greeks. Bee attractor, and a plant particularly productive for bee honey, is acknowledged as a herb which adds unique characteristics in honey.
